It's been so long since my last post, I'm not sure I remember how this works. Life has been hectic lately. With work, a five month old, a working chicken farming husband, and a home that never seems to be clean, I feel overwhelmed sometimes. So much has happened recently that I don't know where to begin.
Chicken Little now has two teeth. That's rigth TWO!!! The came in within days of each other. Shocked me! We were in to see the doctor on a Tuesday, and I asked about teething. He looked and said she probably wouldn't have teeth until 6-7 months. By the next Saturday one tooth had broken the skin and the other followed suit on Tuesday. I'm so proud. But with all of the growing and developing, it makes me long for the sweet little infant I brought home back in December (though had you asked me in December, I would have never told you she was sweet...lol). The thought of having a baby has been toyed with. =D
Mother's Day was amazing, as it was my first. Papa Rooster took me out to dinner on Saturday, although our trip included stops to Lowe's and Wal-Mart. Papa Rooster carefully scrolled the shelves searching for each item--he had forgotten his list at home. Standing with the buggy I couldn't help but watch him; eyes closed, deep in thought, silently counting, going over everything he needed. My how I love this man!!!!!
Now that I reflect on everything that's gone on during the past weeks, I regret that I haven't held on and savored every minute. Life passes much to quickly. Slow down, enjoy today--savor every moment because tomorrow it will be gone!!
