Cheap, Effective Beauty Advice

I came across this while on a social networking site this morning. I liked it so I'm sharing will all my blogg-y friends.

1) For attractive lips, Speak words of kindness. "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver" Proverbs 25:11

2) For lovely eyes, Seek out the good in people. "He who seeks good finds goodwill, but evil comes to him who searches for it." Proverbs 11:27

3) For a slim figure, Share your food with the hungry. "If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink." Proverbs 25:21

4) For beautiful hair, Let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day. "...your children like olive plants all around your table." Psalm 128:3

5) For poise, Walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone... " Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I believe in your commands." Psalm 119:66

I work in a public setting, where I see people go in and out all day long. And I have to admit I am a people watcher. I notice everything--from the shoes they have on to the pink streak in the jet black Mohawk...lol :P
Have you ever seen an amazingly beautiful woman (or handsome man) open their mouth and turn into complete ogres?!? One foul word, one nasty attitude, one mean gesture...that's all it takes to turn beauty into the beast.

This week take time to work on your appearance--INward appearance that is. Beautify your heart through God and you outward appearance will radiate too!!!
